Is Elephant Dating suitable for youngsters?
We think everyone deserves a little elephant love in their life so we have two young elephants (Plai Tawan and Nong Dah) who write gushing letters of enthusiasm about how their life has changed since someone began to date them. We are a very small charity, so please be aware that we do not have any special children's literature at present. We're eager to get creative for the kids, but need sponsorship to develop the scheme.

Where does my money go?
elephant family sends £25 from the sale of each Date to the project that cares for the elephant registered for that Date. If a Date box is bought but the voucher never redeemed, the money is divided between the projects. The remaining £5 is used to administrate the dating scheme.

Where are the projects?
The projects involved in the Elephant Dating scheme are in Jaipur, India; Sumatra, Indonesia and northern Thailand. You can read more about them on these pages.

Can I visit my Date?
We do not organize trips to our projects. However, tourists can certainly see the elephants at Amer Fort in Jaipur, India and take mahout courses at Golden Triangle Asian Elephant Camp, Thailand if they are guests at the neighbouring Anantara hotel.

Would my elephant like me to write back?
