The Duchess of York

Her Royal Highness, The Rajmata of Jaipur
arrived in the UK from West Bengal in 1940 as the 20-year old bride of the dashing Sawai Man Singh II, Maharaja of Jaipur. In 1962, she won a  seat in parliament by the largest proportional majority in a democratic election. Her biography, "A Princess Remembers" was published in 1976. The Rajmata's achievements include founding schools for girls in Jaipur.

Sir Evelyn de Rothschild
British financier and member of the prominent Rothschild banking family of England. In 1976, Sir Evelyn became bank chairman, taking over from Victor Rothschild. In 2003, he oversaw the merger of the family's French and UK houses and continued as non-executive chairman of N. M. Rothschild & Sons.

Throughout his career, Sir Evelyn has been actively involved in a number of private and public sector organizations. In 1989, Sir Evelyn was knighted by HM Queen Elizabeth II. He has been a Governor of the London School of Economics and Political Science. He has been an active patron of the arts and supporter of a number of charities. Sir Evelyn was the founding chairman of the 1990 European Association of Banking and Financial History.

Ms Goldie Hawn,
Actress. Ms Hawn has enjoyed a successful film and television career. She is perhaps best-known for her comedy work, such as "Rowan and Martin's Laugh In" (1968-70) and her film roles in "Private Benjamin" (1980) and "First Wives Club" (1996). She has been nominated for two Emmy Awards for her television work and two Oscars for her film roles. Her autobiography, "A Lotus Grows in the Mud" appeared in 2005.

Sir George Martin CBE
Record producer, arranger and composer. Sir George is often referred to as the "fifth Beatle" due to his work producing the band's original records and playing piano on some of the tracks. In 1969, he established the Associated Independent Recording Studios (AIR). Officially retired, Sir George continues as chairman of the AIR board.  In recognition of his services to the music industry and popular culture, he was made a Knight Bachelor in 1996.
